The clamping force build-up at this used Krauss Maffei machine is generated via four hydraulically connected pressure cushions at the fixed platen. The fixed platen is thereby pulled against the fixed platen by means of the four columns and the mold in between is closed and locked uo with an equally distributed clamping force. |
